Compliance
The RedWolves Athletics Department is committed to OSSAA, All City Athletics Conference and institutional policies and procedures as they relate to all aspects of its athletics program. The OSSAA governs the actions of our coaches and student-athletes, and has explicit guidelines that regulate the actions of our programs.
Institutional Control
As a member of the OSSAA, the principle governing of RedWolves Athletics' compliance efforts is the OSSAA's Principle of Institutional Control, outlined as follows:
- It is the responsibility of each member institution to control its intercollegiate athletics program in compliance with the rules and regulations of OSSAA.
- The institution's athletics office and district athletics office is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the athletics program, including approval of the budget and audit of all expenditures.
- The institution's responsibility for the conduct of its athletics program includes responsibility for the actions of its staff members and for the actions of any other individual or organization engaged in activities promoting the athletics interests of the institution.
Eligibility
PROCESS FOR DETERMINING ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY AT A MEMBER SCHOOL
The athletic director is responsible for OSSAA eligibility compliance, and Rule interpretation. Questions from parents regarding OSSAA eligibility rules and policies should be directed to the athletic director and school administration.
Form 1 and Form 2 (through the RankOne platform) should be completed each year for each student in grades 7 through 12 prior to being allowed to participate at a member school. School Administrators may consult the OSSAA directly to inquire about eligibility requirements, or Rule interpretation.
