OKLAHOMA CITY - The Capitol Hill athletic department announced the hiring of Jason Corley as the new softball head coach on Friday.

No stranger to Hillside, Corley has served Capitol Hill as a coach in football and baseball. Entering his new appointment, Corley has coached for 23 years in his career, most notably 22 years in baseball. In his time as a baseball coach, he's led his teams to four District Championships, four Regional appearances, one Regional Championship, and one State Tournament appearance. He also was a part of the All-State selection committee for seven years, and coached the Oklahoma West All-State Team in 2019.

Most recently, Corley was named the 2024 and 2025 ACAC Baseball Coach of the Year in OKCPS, and led the Red Wolves to back-to-back ACAC Championships. He also was named the 2025 Oklahoma Territorial Large School Coach of the Year. Before coming to Capitol Hill, he was tasked with reviving the Fastpitch Softball program at OCA in Edmond.

Administration at Capitol Hill is excited to have Corley bring his extensive coaching charisma to the Lady Red Wolves softball program.

"I am very excited to continue to build upon the success our Lady Red Wolves had on the diamond this past season." said Corley in his introductory press conference. "We have a great group of young ladies in this program, and I know they will work hard and compete. I can't wait to get to work with them!"
